KILLA KELA:

Kela began beatboxing in his teens with the 360 Physicals crew. He was discovered by DJ Vadim when he sent a tape of his beatboxing to Vadim's now defunct label Jazz Fudge.

His first release was a mixtape with Mr. Thing called "Antistatic Mouthwash".Since then, Kela has been a member of the Isolationists, Rock Steady Crew and The Scratch Perverts. He has also appeared on DJ Vadim's albums and tours as part of the Russian Percussion project, and appeared onstage with Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, Super Furry Animals, Prince, De La Soul and Plan B. He is considered to be one of the best beatboxers in the world alongside Kenny Muhammad and Rahzel.

His live act incorporates drum & bass, electro and hip-hop stylings, singing, MCing, very realistic vocal scratching, body movements and imitations of popular songs such as "Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears and "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega. He calls his technique "Multivocalism", a term coined by longtime artwork collaborator Mark Splinter in 2000. Kela's crew has performed hundreds of live shows all around the world and are known as "Spit Kingdom".

His song Jawbreaker was put on the Fifa Street 2 Soundtrack.

APPLY THE BREAKS:

Apply the Breaks are floating on cloud nine after being voted as Best Breakthrough DJ at the 2009 Breakspoll awards.
The collective beat off competition from Adsorb, D*Funk, Lady Waks and Richie Balboa to receive the coveted trophy at the national breakbeat awards night at London super-club Fabric.

It means the group follows in the footsteps of the likes of the Breakfastaz, Friendly, Plaza de Funk, NAPT and Raw as F*CK - aka the Freestylers - in winning the best newcomer category.

DUEL CALIBRE:

What more can i say that hasn't already been stated previous posts?? International multi single/album selling superstars!! Freshly back from a Russian topur tour they've decided to grace the Dirty Decks once again to terrorise the anticipating ears :)

REMIX:

Hitchin's 800 capacity bar and nightclub. Situated in the heart of Hitchin in what was once the prestigious Hermitage Ballroom, the club has been totally revamped from its previous incarnations and is now the clubbing capital of Hitchin.

Featured, is a stunning Martin Professional lighting system rigged onto a bespoke truss gives you massive visual impact. A Nova 10k sound system imported from Germany that doesn't just cope with the sound but gives it all the depth and resonance you'd expect from a world-class venue.

Lush decoration, gorgeous swathing and draping and some of the friendliest bar staff you could ever meet. In short, it pulls it off on every level. Bringing it on. Having it large. And doing it well. Isn't it about time your weekend has a Remix?

ALL THINGS...DIRTY!!

Does excatly what it says on the tin.
Top dj's, great following, envied atmosphere!!

Lets get ready to rumble - surely that's what Bank Holidays are all about?
