At the tender age of 23 Jon Woodall is already in the thick of the music industry. Early days Jon held down residencies at various venues including Bar 55 in Newcastle and Space in Leeds. As well as these regular gigs Jon has travelled to Germany and Spain to DJ, including playing to a sold out club in Dusseldorf on New Years Eve 04. On the back of his early success Jon was asked to play at such nights as Veryverywrongindeed and Purfect electro.

In 2006 his career took a step up when Dave Beer heard him playing for VeryVeryWrongIndeed, Jon was given his chance at the legendary Back to Basics, playing there four times in the following six months. The Basics connection doesn’t stop there, Jon is resident DJ and promoter for the official Basics after party, “AfterBasics is Whalebow” @ the Mint Club, held every Sunday morning, which has guest DJs such as Buckley & Frenchy. Jon also has Guest appearances coming up at The Friday Club with Spirit catcher and new Basics resident, Burnski, Sankeys & new club Area 51 in Manchester.

I sure hope so. Jon's gonna be bringing quite a few from Leeds after people hearing good things about Hull after the Frenchy night. Lets hope we can make it as good as that quality night in February.
