"MJ Cole began setting the musical precedent for all to follow way back in 1998. He created the timeless epic anthem Sincere, a track eagerly sniffed out by Pete Tong which would quickly become Pete's Essential tune for many weeks on his Radio 1 show. A Musical innovator, his debut album Sincere released in 2000 earned him a Mercury Music Prize nomination and would go on to sell over 100,000 units in the UK alone, while also notching up two top 15 hits. He also picked up best producer gongs from MOBO and Muzik Magazine along the way. Not only an urban legend, MJ Cole has collaborated and remixed world class artists such as Mariah Carey, Tom Jones, Jocelyn Brown and Jill Scott amongst many more. His DJ diary sees him playing extensively across the globe with regular visits to such destinations as the U.S., Japan, Austrailia and Europe and it's with great pleasure we welcome MJ Cole to the turntables at CASA - FIESTA!"
