Surely that then applies to everyone on the site. And facebook. And myspace. Jokes are jokes - i have been the butt of many, you can't just lock a thread cos someone is having a laugh, especially when it wasn't even a cruel joke as many are. No you do not have the right to lock the thread. If somebody is being racist, homophobic etc you can delete the thread and report it to admin.
If somebody is spamming then you can delete the thread. I do not think locking a thread for simple joking around (which is actualy really funny) is necessary.
Mod powers will be stripped from people who abuse their power no matter what they are within the ALC brand.
