Had to start a new thread cos Walker disabled the other one!!

X-lil-pixie-X	ummmmmmmmm...not really......all i remember is taxman n hypes set Yeah i was wrong it was Hype i was thinkin of, they look quite similar!! Im a twat! And sorry that we all slated the night, Im sure the event is goog its just the venue is shit and as has been said £8 is expensive for Ocean, when you can go to a real club (kinda - Smack!) for £6 with same sort of, if not more, headlining DJs! So if anyone can think of a decent place where you would go to... that will take a DnB night .. let us know!

It is not ideal, i think they should spend money on the pub, but it is not ours so we can't force them to do it.

So perhaps have, as peaches said, slightly cheaper DJs and MCs and more local talent until you built up more of a rep (or improve the rep that seems to be in place - wasn't what put me off at all tho), i dont know, i dont want to say anything that would be taken as insulting cos its not meant like that, but leave the BIG dJ's to :Stimulus: and showcase local talent?!! This would make your nights cheaper and more accessible to people (least people might be more willing to pay say £2 or even perhaps some FREE nights!) who don't want/don't feel they can afford to pay £8 to get into Ocean! Think of it this way. J Austin and his friends put on nights involving local and up and coming DJ's. Doesn't charge much and gets the people through the door and everybody has a great time? Why do you think that is? Austin has muchos respectos in this town and everybodies love a good local mashup.

Very good point...altho have to point out that they are free nights, not cheap!

everything costs money - It is cheaper and less hassle not to do these nights! but why do we continue.. for the ASR DJ's and MC's ... they love coming out and playing with us !!
