“if you liked Sugar, you’ll love Smack”

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Episode 2 of the :stimulus: summer sizzler series and this time we are bringing more new faces to Leamington alongside some of your old favourites…

BRYAN GEE’s sets are well known to include the entire spectrum of beats and breaks only to the highest standard. With a reputation of having only the freshest new dnb cuts in the bag he is the DJ most likely to be the first to drop that tune that you then hear everywhere for the next 8 months or so. The head of V Recordings will be touching down at Smack for a ruckus unheard of in these parts since … erm … the last time he was here…

Next up on the bill is Hospital Records shining star LOGISTICS who has come a long long way in recent years. With a back catalogue including “Together”, “Blackout”, “The Trip” and “Release The Pressure” as well as the recent “Now More Than Ever” LP on Hospital we felt it is a perfect time for him to make his Leamington debut.

Stourbridge’s finest and friends of :stimulus: BENNY & ARIES have a deep rooted history in Midland’s drum & bass. From humble early beginnings these two have since established themselves as DJ’s, producers and label owners in their own right with Aries receiving a lot of attention for his production from people such as Shy FX, Benny Page & Bailey. Benny co-owns Co Lab Recordings with Metalheadz and Full Cycle artist Heist and also has a hand in labels such as Calypso and Pure Vibes which have all seen releases and remixes by Heist, TC, Twisted Individual, Majistrate, Visionary, Ruffstuff, The Force, Connecta & Malfoy amongst others.

18 year old Cardiff resident DAN MARSHALL is a name that you may not have possibly heard of as yet but you will have heard of very soon. With previous and forthcoming releases on Dogs On Acid sub-label Under Construction, D-Kay’s Brigand and Cheltenham’s Deep Soul Music this resident of Cardiff’s Aperture & Alliance monthly events will be crossing the border for his first ever stop on :stimulus: territory.

Support on the night comes from Caution alongside MC's Algar, Accapello & PM. 10.30pm-3am. £6 all night.
