Half way through the year, and things are about to get real cosmic …
We are very proud to present the :stimulus: debut of the mighty ED RUSH who has been on the road nonstop just recently to promote his an Optical’s newly released LP on Virus Recordings ‘Travel the Galaxy’. From early beginnings on labels such as No U Turn, Metalheadz and Prototype Ed Rush helped to develop and shape jungle / drum & bass into never before ventured territories paving the way for many other producers to follow. The legendary Virus Recordings soon followed releasing landmark track after track after track and along with massive releases and remixes on V, Prototype, Ram, Full Cycle and Metro it’s clear to see why he is seen as a massive inspiration for many DJ’s and producers to this day. It’s not about the past though, it’s all about the future and it’s now time to Travel the Galaxy...
We also welcome Derby’s DRUMSOUND duo who have made serious waves in the drum and bass scene over the years largely due to their mighty track record on the production front with long time collaborator Simon ‘Bassline’ Smith. With a list of original tracks and remixes as long as your arm spanning across all the big labels such as Ganja, Full Cycle, V, Bingo, Good Looking, Grid, CIA, Prototype, Creative Source, D-Style, Urban Takeover, Formation, Breakbeat Kaos, Trouble on Vinyl, Renegade Hardware and of course their own Technique Recordings imprint the creators of modern classics such as “The Odyssey”, “Crossfire Danger” “Cold Turkey”, Cape Fear”, “Harder”, “Killa DJ”, “Stigmata”, & “Tinman” will be returning to Leamington for an event which is not to be missed at any cost…
Joining Ed Rush and Drumsound on this line up is one half of one of the hottest production duos of recent times in Liverpool’s FUTUREBOUND. As part of a duo with Matrix as well as a solo artist Futurebound has recently been in the limelight with massive releases & remixes on labels such as Virus, Metro, Hospital, CIA, Breakbeat Kaos (with The Brookes Brothers) and Infrared. Join with us for another dose of futuristic funk as one of :stimulus: favourite artists makes a welcome return to Leamington to show the locals what all the fuss is about...
As always we continue our partnership with WHERE’S THE JUNGLE?
