DJ Boss & Toky are amongst a small number of Slovakian DJs to emerge onto the European techno scene in recent years. Boss and Toky (also known as Rumenige) are both successful producers in their own right, with a string of releases on labels such as 'Antidandruff', 'Palicavonzvreca', 'Numb', 'Dolegate' , 'Tresor' and 'Planet Rhythm'. The pair are set to perform back to back, bringing their devastating powerful and energetic broken beat sound to the UK for the first time.

Toky is a living legend in his home country and has been at the forefront of the Slovakian techno scene for more than a decade. Working with like minded producers Loktibrada, Olga+Jozef, Hu, Boss, Regis and Takaaki Itoh he's been one of the true pioneers of the off-beat sound and been responsible for some of the scene's biggest hits including the all time global classic "fast food" (listen here: ds2shop.co.uk )

Boss will be making his 3rd appearance at Detatched, his energetic & crowd pleasing style has really struck a chord with the Leeds faithful while his own label 'Dolegate' label continues to go from strength to strength with the latest installment being the 'Co-operation EP,' which sees Boss and Radial team up for a gung-ho mix of their trade mark peak time beats.

Bas Mooy has been at the forefront Rotterdam’s techno scene throughout the last decade. Heavily influenced by his industrial home town, he’s become a leading light in the harder, darkder style of techno. He started the now legendary 'Audio Assault' record label in 2002 with label partner Jeroen Liebregts, which resulted in the birth of sub label 'Arms' a year later. Since then the Audio Assault family built a strong and constantly growing fan-base worldwide, showcasing an impressive catalogue with a constant output of stand out 12s, setting the standard for others to follow. The first Audio Assault's release of 2009, 'Bazooka Circus EP' by Bas himself is another winner for the label, his strongest track for some time and no doubt a sure fire Leeds floor filler.

With his relentless out put on his own imprints as well as 'Planet Rhythm', 'Fine Audio Recordings', 'Submissions', 'Patterns', 'FK Recordings', this hard working producer is set to entertain the Leeds crowd with a semi live DJ set using samples, edits and loops from other producers in with his own tracks. This hould be a pretty intense 90 minutes.

Launched in 2007, the Belgium based 'Ante-Rasa' (www.ante-rasa.be) is a free techno net label set up to broadcast and promote artists producing original and quality underground music.

Step up ‘Rednox’ the labels founder and 'Black Smith Craft' one of the labels hottest artists and one of our tips to really break through over the next few months. They are both ready to bring the label's deep, dark and hypnotic sound to the UK for the first time.

French born DJ and producer, Tyler Smith aka 'Black Smith Craft,' has been dedicated to electronic music since the late 90's. Tyler’s early sound was heavily influenced by Detroit, gradually veering towards a darker, harder and more industrial sound with his 'Black Smith Craft' project of which a few tacks have been signed on labels such as Grovskopa's mighty Pohjola + Ante-Rasa and Leeds' own Limetree. Tyler's also busy managing different radio shows playing Detroit and Birmingham tunes on 'Livesets.com', 'Emergence FM' and 'Techno.fm'. Drawing on the dark industrial textures of his 'Black Smith Craft' material he will perform a live set at the club in May.

Belgium DJ and fore mentioned 'Ante-Rasa' head honcho, 'Rednox' combines dark and grainy textures with heavy techno beats in his sets which are heavily influenced by the likes of James Ruskin, Makaton, Surgeon, Regis, Grovskopa, Luka Baumann, Reeko, Go Hiyama and Oscar Mulero. He has continued to establish himself as an international DJ with a residency on 'B-side/Livesets.com' radio, a techno/industrial show.

And if all this was not already enough (we had to cut down the original press release) there will be further support on the night from Kieron Lacy [Darkside/Orbit - UK], Rigmouse [Eknosketch - UK] and Rehab DJs [Liverpool]. Plus, live visuals all night from STEGZ & RHYTHMFORM.
