Friday February 8th 2008 is a defining date as it sees Digital Society turn 1 years old. On this date sees some of the finest DJ’s that the trance spectre has to offer. Headlining this enormous event is none other than Matt Hardwick. Matt is no stranger to big events having clocked up a hell of lot air miles in his illustrious career. He has played all over the world from South Africa, Australia, Asia, South America, USA and all the way back to the UK where he has played events such as the sell out Don Valley stadium gig in front of 28,000 people on NYE 2000 and the magnificent NEC events in front of 15000 people for the legendary Gatecrasher. Not resting on his DJing laurels Matt has also had fantastic productions out over the years. His collaborations with Smith and Pledger in their hit singles ‘Day One’ and ‘Connected’ were real favourites amongst ranks. With his new album ‘Rain Stars Eternal’ scheduled for a release in April 2008 things are looking up for the Midland based star. Renowned as a DJ who never fails to deliver the goods, Rich Solarstone's worldwide travels have taken in some of the biggest events and festivals across the globe, and also some of the most bizarre, including islands in the Philippines, bush parties in Australia and massive festivals in the heart of Brazil. A mix of quality trance will be the order of the day for the DS faithful as Rich Solarstone will be showcasing his quality sound through the Funktion One sound system which will cause a happy stir amongst raving clubbers.
