John Askew [uk]
Discover Records boss John Askew headlines and presents this very special Discover showcase. John has been an integral part of the UK scene for many years, and with the Discover label becoming one of the most influential outputs of quality Trance music, has been responsible for launching some of the scenes newest stars. With the recent production success of ‘Fade to Black’ and brand new album ‘Z List Uber Star’, John is very much on top of his game. The forthcoming release ‘Nothing Left Between Us’ on Kill the Lights and continued Residency with London’s super brand The Gallery @ Ministry of Sound alongside a gig diary packed with dates right across the world, means John Askew continues to be at the forefront of today’s Trance scene.
Sean Tyas [us]
Sean Tyas returns to DS for the first since September 2007, and is set to deliver a performance of titanic proportions all over again. Sean has proved to be a real fan’s favourite with energetic displays and that distinctive hi-octane trademark sound, complementing one of the most impressive discography in the scene – including, ‘Lift’, ‘One More Night Out’ and the more recent ‘Somethin’s Up’ produced with Simon Patterson and the remix with Tom Colontonio of ‘Inertia – The System’ - to name but a few. Sean continues to go from strength to strength after playing all over the world in the last 12 months, and lands in Leeds to feature a late set like only the man Tyas can truly demonstrate.
Greg Downey [uk]
Greg Downey returns once again to join Sean on the roster, igniting memories of one of the best nights – and one of the best sets - in Digital Society history. Greg has becoming a true international superstar with tour dates all over the globe in current times, and has had relentless success on the production front with recent floorfillers ‘King Dong’ on Discover, and ‘Stadium’ on Vandit Records in every other credible artists record box. More Success has also come in the shape of a fresh remix of ‘Paul Van Dyk – New York City’ also on Vandit. Greg is set to offer more up front magic at the DS helm and if last time is anything to go by, this performance is certainly one not to be missed.
