With continued success of the Gareth Emery Podcast and the imminent launch of his new record label Garuda, Gareth’s stock remains at an all time high. Moving up to No.23 in the DJ Mag 2008 Top 100 and recent hits such as ‘This is That’ well and truly cemented Gareth Emery amongst the trance global elite.
Menno de Jong (NL)
Man of the moment Menno de Jong is at the forefront of today’s trance scene and fittingly joins Gareth at the top of the bill for such a special event. The Dutchman’s reputation as one of the finest DJs in the business coupled with the relentless success of all things Intuition – amazing events, the Podcast and of course the legendary label, means Menno continues to lead from the front and is primed to hit the top. Countless profile gigs across the world and on the impressive rise in the latest DJ Mag Poll to number 48, along with the recent rave reviews of the concept event ‘Menno Solo’ – all points to Menno de Jong performing a true master-class to the DS faithful.
Simon Patterson (UK)
The UK trance phenomenon that is Simon Patterson is the third artist on the headline roster. Simon has had a defining 12 months and his productions currently feature in just about every other credible artist’s record box. From the trademark Patterson of ‘Bulldozer’ and ‘Smack’ through to the beautiful ‘Different Feeling’, Simon’s name is on the edge of everyone’s lips. A debut entry in the 2008 Top 100 and a reputation for action packed performances ranging from the melodic full on Tech Trance. Simon Patterson arrives at DS for the first time since last year’s 1st Birthday celebration in the finest form of his life.
Ronski Speed (NL)
German legend Ronski Speed lands back at DS Leeds fresh off the back of the epic hit ‘All the Way’ on Euphonic Records, earning airplay on every internet radioshow around. Ronski continues to lead the light in the world of trance production and recently released his debut artist album ‘Pure Devotion‘ also on Euphonic. Ronski has been responsible for some of the first trance tracks of all time including the legendary ‘Sun Decade – I’m Alone’ and ‘ Ronski Speed ft Julie Scott - Love All The Pain Away‘. After his stunning performance back in October 2007 he lands once again toshowcase the true sound of Ronski Speed.
Orkidea (FI)
DJ Orkidea remains one of Finland’s finest exports, since his last performance at Digital Society he has remained a real crowd favourate. Known for getting the party going like only he can, Orkidea is one of those DJs whose personality can become infectious as he continues to make his mark on the scene with sublime tracks such as ‘ Metaverse’ still hitting the right spots. As eagerly an anticipated return as there ever has been, Orkidea promises a performance of the highest order.

Enhanced Recordings boss and Digital Society resident Will Holland opens the night in pure Enhanced style – beautiful, melodic progressive Trance music. Part of the new ‘Enhanced Recordings - Digitally Enhanced Vol 2’ Album Tour, Will is set to showcase some of the tracks from the highly acclaimed compilation. Holding 4 international radioshows and running the brilliant Enhanced Recordings has only strengthened his position in the UK scene today and is set to offer the kind of warm up DS offers best.
Rav Takhar (UK)
Resident Rav Takhar completes the nights proceedings with a birthday closing set in true DS fashion. Rav has built a reputation of delivering the freshest finest driving Trance around and having a presence behind the decks of the highest calibre whilst becoming a real crowd favourite in the process. Having already featured alongside Paul Van Dyk, John O’Callaghan, Kyau & Albert, Matt Hardwick and Menno de Jong to name but a few, Rav continues to fill up his diary across the country and is primed to perform at the event he regards as home.
