Digital Society Leeds returns fresh from the super September Return event to celebrate the launch of the brand new Digital Society double CD compilation - DS International Volume 2 mixed by UK Trance legend John Askew. To celebrate such an occasion DS delivers quite possibly the biggest lineup to date.

Headlining the October event is ANDY MOOR featuring for the first time at Digital Society. The AVA Recordings boss, who was voted #18 DJ Mag Top100 Poll 2008, Andy’s most recent production success was the epic 'Faces' with Ashley Wallbridge. Also part of legendary duo Leama & Moor.

Joining him on the roster is man of the moment JOHN O'CALLAGHAN [#60] who has had amazing success with his recent debut artist album - 'Never Fade Away' which has been receiving rave reviews across the industry. JOC is without doubt standing on the threshold of superstardom.

Flying in from The Netherlands for this spectacular event is none other than the Dutchman SIED VAN RIEL. Making waves right through scene right now with a sublime blend of electric, deep & melodic Trance, he has become renowned for excellent releases on dutch label imprint Spinnin' Records. Sied is very much the real deal and is another exciting debutant at Digital Society in 2009.

Celebrating the launch of 'DS International Volume 2' is recording artist and main man JOHN ASKEW. An action packed showcase with high tempo tracks from the album itself is in store on a night that promises to be something quite special. John, the boss of legendary Trance Label Discover Records, who recently released killer track 'Bad Apple' and also remixed Paul Van Dyk's 'The Other Side' on Vandit Records is ready to offer a late set of the highest order.

DANIEL KANDI of Denmark completes the evenings guest performances, and also features at DS for the very first time. The Anjunabeats maestro is being touted as the one to watch right now ,and this year featured on the prestigious ASOT 400 Tour.

Landing in for another epic residency appearance and who is widely tipped to be producer of the year ACTIVA, in his finest form leading up to the release of artist album 'This World'. Kicking things off in the main room is Resident and Digital
Society Sessions Podcast host - PAUL PEARSON.

October also welcomes JARED KNAPP all the way from New Zealand, who features as the Spotlight DJ heading up the DS Invitation Room alongside Trance talents Timothey Rand, Adnan Rafiq, Paul Bridgeman and Invitation residents DJs Med & Neil Bamford. The top floor plays host to House outfit M.Y.O with residents Intertek and guests Adrian Price, Russ Groom, Adjected Deleted, Kid Afro and Merge.

All this in the wonderful surroundings of Leeds most intimate venue MyHouse, with the fantastic DS decor & production, the Funktion One soundsystem, the renowned (and updated) garden terrace, the friendlist staff in Yorkshire and drink promotions galore, Digital Society October promises to be one of the most spectacular
editions yet!
