Is this an indoor festival?

The shamania festival is an outdoor event.. int'hills of lovely lancashire, on the border with yorkshire..

Its posted on west indian centre pages as Riff Raff will be doing an area and WIC is there home venue..

Its hard to put a festival on here as 'the countryside' & 'lancashire' are not venues!

That's what "A Secret Location" is for though. :P Is it the same place as last year? That was down as "A secret location near Burnley" but i donno if you can change it.

Sorry, I was confused for a bit. Here was me thinking i'd have to book hotels and whatnot if i wanted to come. :P

NOT LONG TO GO NOW!

To satori and beyond with Adam Lab4
Being described as the Iggy Pop of the industrial music scene is certainly one thing! But talking about dropping ‘The Witch’ into his set to tempt those infamous Pendle Witches out of cover from their dwelling up on Pendle Hill in the heart of Lancashire at this year’s Shamania Festival is certainly another! But the question is, will he do it? Headlining this musical sorcery alongside Dave The Drummer and Chris Liberator on the alternative stage hosted by Leeds based event Riff Raff will certainly ensure that the stage sound system is pushed to the limit, taking no hostages - witches included!

Better known as Adam Lab4, Adam Newman is no stranger to the global harder dance floor scene. Since Adam and Les followed their own paths 18 months ago, after the Lab4 departure, a lot has transpired and flowed into full fruition; from setting up a studio in France, a record label and three out standing musical projects along with his debut album release A+D+A+M Lab4 ‘Drink Me’, out now on his own label Test Pilot Recordings.

So now before Adam heads up to Lancashire in August for the Shamania Festival (www.shamania.com), here is Adam Lab4…… harderfaster.net

Shamania Interview with Ade Lord
The concept of Shamania was born in the North of England, possibly as a by-product of our Brigantean Celtic heritage. The Northern Dance Music Tribes are truly coming together this year to provide the best you can get, when it comes to underground dance music! If you haven’t heard of Shamania before, don’t worry, let us introduce to you Ade Lord, one of the founders, creators and main organizers of Shamania Festivals.

You’ll find Shamania set in the mysterious, magical landscape of Pendle Witch country, not too far from Burnley, Lancashire. It was here I recently caught up with Ade, a man with a vision, passion and total love for underground music. We delved into what Shamania is about and what exactly you will see, listen and enjoy there. Of course the power of music and festival vibes is a universal language we all understand and it unites us together in many ways, but let us whet your true party appetite with a taste of true underground dance music laced with some International flavouring and spice. harderfaster.net

Getting connected with Safi Connection
Better known as the Israeli psy trance act Safi Connection, Mishel Bitton has been making music for the past 11 years. Safi has taken Mishel around the world, performing live as well as DJing. One of three creators of the infamous ‘plastic’ bass line that is used so often in today’s music along with his counterparts Astrix and Atomic Pulse, the Safi Connection is also about constant barrier pushing, along with an enthusiasm that can not be dismissed. When it comes to psy trance, Mishel Bitton is certainly on the ball and always ahead, constantly evolving…

It has been two years since Mishel set foot on English soils, so it’s with great pleasure that Safi Connection once again connects with the UK. This time it’s at the UK’s only psy trance Festival, Shamania. harderfaster.net
