RAVERS REUNITED @ GATECRASHER, MEDIA, NOTTINGHAM - 23.11.07

What a year it has been for Hardcore Ravers across the country. Every week we’ve had numerous parties across the country smashing it the only way we know how! We’ve had the week in the sun thanks to the HTID crew, the Slammin Boys pulled of the monumental outdoor Sanctuary Festival as well as the Weekender and now we’ve just had the news that HTID are moving there next event to the awesome Custard Factory and Uproar have just successfully secured the legendary Que Club, can it get any better??? Well you know the Raver Boys had to do something special for the ravers also, so here it is … another first for hardcore!

After Trailblazing through the scene with their true RAVER friendly events of budget busting, ball breaking, whistle blowing line ups, using the ethos of ramming EVERY event with 100% fully world exclusive sets, b2b's, b2b2b's and b2b2b2b's!, World Tours, P.A's, b2b P.A's, International Artists, UK Exclusive International Artists, additional stat of the art lighting & sound! U.V. Décor, Inflatables, Lazers the whole shabbang!

Well because of all this we now have the HONOUR and PRIVELIDGE of bringing to you the most exclusive event that NO 1 would ever of even dare dream of, let alone attempt! If you’d asked mixmag 5 years ago if there would of been a HARDCORE event in the WORLD’S MOST EXCLUSIVE, PLUSHEST and LARGEST clubbing brand, they wouldn’t of even laughed!

Yet now after ramming the EMPORIUM with such truly amazing parties (RAVERS 28.07.07 click for full details!!) we have confirmed this monstrous first for Hardcore for Friday 23rd of November 2007 @ Media By Gatecrasher, Nottingham.

1) It is just undergoing a massive multi million pound refit (on top of the millions spent last year ;-)

2) World Exclusive Tours & sets WILL be involved; you know how we are at Ravers ;-)

3) HARDCORE will be in the main arena

Gatecrasher Refurbishment!

GATECRASHER intend to restore the Grade Two* Listed Building with a design that highlights the extraordinary historic character of the building. In keeping with clubs already spectacular interior, Gatecrasher aim to add a new sense of glamour and excitement to the club, surpassing expectations with world-class production, luscious décor and sensational sounds to suit all tastes.

Simon Raine, Managing Director at Gatecrasher commented;

“Media Nightclub was once an important part of Nottingham's identity and attracted international attention on the dance scene through its championing of cutting-edge dance music. In its heyday the club stood at the heart of the dance scene, and fresh wave of youth culture.

The venue remains at the pinnacle of club-land in Nottingham, however club culture moves on and it is important that we recognise this. We aim to add a new excitement and energy to the club. We’ve listened to what our customers want and re-modelled the club accordingly. Comfort and service is now as important as the big sound system. The refurbishment will provide clubbers with a totally encompassing environment with all the facilities you could dream of.”

Gatecrasher plan to run club-nights throughout the week encompassing all styles of music, which will reflect the tastes and desires of Nottingham’s clubbers and their lifestyle, with an elegant slant on clubbing to suit every taste and every persuasion.

“Gatecrasher Nottingham will focus on all genres of music. We’ve asked clubbers what they want and programmed our nights accordingly. Gatecrasher is no longer a trance club. Our music policy on a Saturday will be varied and non-specialist covering all genres of music from house to R & B, disco to party anthems.”
