Full Line Up

7 Years and going from strength to strength

Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun? Storm is 7! And to celebrate we’re going to do what we do best – putting on a massive hard house event with the best DJ’s and the hottest live acts.

Other nights may be down to a few events a year, but Storm is thriving. Packing out the Emporium month-on-month, we’re only gonna get bigger and better! It would be easy for us to rest on our laurels and just book the same old tired faces for our birthday, but where would the innovation be that our reputation has been built upon. Our promotions team have spent a long time putting together a mouth-watering combination of established acts and new, critically acclaimed filth-mongers.

Seventh Heaven

Headlining this hedonistic celebration is BK vs Nick Sentience. Since their days at Nukleuz, these guys have been at the forefront of the scene and have produced hundreds of classic floor-fillers between them, carving the way for others to follow. Storm’s birthday will see Ben and Nick perform a very special back to back DJ set featuring past, present and future anthems that will be guaranteed to get your arse shaking!

Grady G is hard. We know that from his last ear-bleeding set towards the end of 2006. You told us you wanted to hear more from the Wizard of Oz – so we’re going to give it to you. Full-on, in-your-face 160bpm madness - from the man who bought us ‘Alone in the dark’ and ‘Crazy’. Ear protection advised!

Our 7th birthday will also feature two of the hottest Live PA’s around – Edison Factor and Defective Audio. The Edison Factor – AKA Matt Williams and James Lawson have been responsible for some of the best euphoric hard house and hard trance anthems of the past few years. Rocking parties all across the globe, their Live PA at Storm promises to be something very special indeed. Defective Audio, AKA Dom Sweeten is an out-and-out legend of all things dark and dirty. His annihilating synth-lines and tough beats have seen him perform all over the world. Synonymous with the driving NRG sound which the Storm posse lap up, this is one PA that the hard heads amongst us will not want to miss!

Lab 4 may have hung up their keyboards for the last time – but Adam is already hungry for the thrash again. He’ll be bringing his trademark Lab4 sound to the Emporium’s 1’s and 2’s for a rare DJ set. Expect rising BPM’s!

Paul Maddox is the epitome of the modern day Tidy Trax. His Discography reads like a retrospective of the past 5 years of hard house. His fun, party style hard house is adored by the masses and this one promises to be amongst the best sets of the night!

Storm debut alert! Rodi Style is a Canadian DJ and Producer who made some serious waves in 2006. His no-nonsense Hard NRG is relentless and filthy, and his performances are nothing less than mesmerising. A very technical DJ, who can scratch and mix with three decks comfortably – he will definitely be a set to watch out for on this very special occasion. We’ve got a feeling that people will be talking about this man a lot after Storm’s 7th Birthday. Remember where you saw him first…

It would be impossible to profile all the DJ’s and acts you can expect to see at our birthday event. With over 30 live acts and DJ’s – you can be sure that the unrivalled, legendary Storm atmosphere will be prevalent ALL night long as this specially concocted mix of hard house heavyweights put your feet to the test.

See you at the front!
