We thought it would be good to catch up with Greg ahead of his Passion gig to fill you up with a few things that you may not know about him!

Genix :: Who is your biggest musical influence?

Greg :: Definately the Prodigy, thats what got me into serious dance music, I dont think any other dance act has come close to them even after so many years.

Genix :: Where was your Very first DJ set?

Greg :: It was when I was 15 at this mental club in Belfast called The Crescent, it was seriously dingy, sawdust on the floor, filthy but it was where we all used to go and was always packed. I was shitting myself so much that I could hardly line up the needles on each deck due to my hands shaking uncontrollably! It went well though thankfully!

Genix :: What inspired you to remix ‘Mansun’s – Wide Open Space’?

Greg :: Wide Open Space was one of my favourite old tunes alongside Heaven Scent so it was the only choice in my head as kinda like a follow up to Heaven Scent. Its one of those tunes that was amazing but not like a big cheesy anthem and also the fact that it hadn't been done was important.

Genix :: Whats happening with the Mansun remix now? Does It planned to be released?

Greg :: Im just about to finish a new full vocal radio version which will be coming out early 2010, a little bit slower , electronic sorta vibe, my original remix will be released alongside it. Im also working on a couple of new tracks with the lead singer from Mansun - Paul Draper which will be out in 2010.

Genix :: When did you realise that you were amongst the leading dance artists on the market? Was there a defining moment?

Greg :: To be honest I never really see myself as that, I just see myself as the same fella that started out all those years ago, its always nice to hear compliments though, Again as for a defining moment, there hasn't been one really, Im still working and striving to grow etc, you never feel like you have arrived as such because there is always so much more to achieve.

Genix :: What is your biggest ever gig to date?

Greg :: I did Entrance in Poland this year to 8000 people that was probably the biggest to date

Genix :: If you weren’t a dj then what would you be .........

Greg :: Good question, I've always been good at sales although I hated it because I only ever wanted to do my music, so yeah probably trying to force people into buying things they dont want!

Genix :: What is your favourite track that you have produced?

Greg :: Vivid Intent is my favourite, if always found it tough to come up with a track that had as much feeling as that one.

Genix :: What can the ‘Passion’ clubbers expect to hear coming from the speakers on Nov 7th from your DJ Set?

Greg :: Prog, Tech, Trance, Techno, Melody, Bass, Energy, Emotion some stuff like that
