Paul Glazby to take final bow at The Emporium

One of hard house's most iconic DJs and producers, Paul Glazby is to retire from the scene with a monumental 10 hour set taking place at The Emporium in Coalville, it's been made official.

In a 2-part video interview to be broadcast next week, Paul talks to the promoters of the Emporium's award winning hard house event, Storm about his rise to international DJ stardom, right through to what he saw as the beginning of the end of his DJ career.

It's a sad day to see such an iconic and instrumental DJ retire from a scene, but Paul retires leaving a legacy that many will find hard to follow. His 'Vicious Circle' label released some of the most memorable tracks including 'Hostile', 'Kick-It' and 'Fire In the Sky' among many others, and the label fastly became one of the trend-setters in hard house music.

“I can't believe the DJ chapter of my life is almost over, but on 25th February 2012 I'll be playing my last ever UK set at my favourite club, Storm, would be great to everyone there for one last blast, and to have as many witnesses as possible to my 10 hour set!

Thanks to you all for the last 12 years, you made it what it was!”

Paul pushes on with his new career as a personal fitness instructor and Director of his founded company www.prime-mover.co.uk and will play his last ever set in a UK club, on Saturday the 25th February. Throughout the set will be giving away his entire vinyl collection apart from a few gems that he'll obviously want to keep for himself.
