Sonny Wharton, Rick Nicholls and DJ Chunky go 'prawn crackers' for Chinese New Year @ The View
After an unbelievably successful Olympics games, the Beijing authorities have consolidated their triumph with a dedicated theme night at 2Kinky!!

The year of the Ox is set to serve up an extra special menu for this year’s Chinese New Year as Frodsham's View Nightclub gears up for an extra special 2Kinky event at a recession busting price.

Expect Buddha’s, dragons and an audience ready to fry their noodles and go completely 'prawn crackers' in expectation of the ground breaking line up including headline act Sonny Wharton. This Manumission resident and all-round ‘good egg’ is joined by the likes of Rick Nicholls and DJ Chunky in the Chinese dance pod with legends Stu Allan and Mark XTC, taking up a heavyweight club classics residency in the Observatory.

The resurgence of 2Kinky has brought experimentation to the genre of music played in the main room but the mastermind of the event Gary Marto has said "Having trialled the more cutting edge sound of deep electro and filthy house, it is quite clear this is not suitable for the our main room audience and we at 2Kinky have decided to tone the content down to make the music - although still very contemporary – a more accessible funky vocal electro. This policy is reflected by the DJs that have been booked. "

2Kinky has not only moved with the times musically but recognising the current economic climate this extra special night is available at a crunch-bustin’ January Sale price of £6 in advance and a measly £5 for NUS.
