BETTER AND BETTER
Well guys what can i say? After the last kubik i thought they couldnt get any better, and im glad to say i was very much proven wrong......again! I had such a fantastic night with Jagdeep nicely warming up the ever increasing crowd of new and regular faces. Then guest nikolai took the decks and turned the heat up a few notches and the masses were well and truely getting into the Kubik effect. Then i met a met a magicain in the crowd who entertained some of us with some clever card tricks and bending forks which was a surreal twist to the night, he also entertained birthday boy chalky who had made Kubik his birthday event, hope you had a good one mate. Also among the crowd was Goodgreefs Barry Almond who had come along to check out what a kubik event is all about. Then the kubik ressie Chris Pollock set the flames of the night up to scorching in preperation for the highlight of the night to knock the foundations to the ground, the one and only, Fred Baker. Coming all the way from belgium to put on a set for us guys shows you how much of a night Kubik is becoming. and what a set it was, a quality selection of tunes and flawless mixing meant that because i was dancing so much i hardly took as many pictures as i normally do! Shame on me, but more shame on the people who failed to turn up(you know who you are) and shame on those who still havent tried a kubik night yet. You truely are missing a great nite

Take care people and hope to see you at the next one for my birthday.

I would just like to apologise for my state at Kubik.
I was a mess. I really can not remember anything. I got there at 12 to see Jag finish his set, after that becomes a complete blur until I get to Chris's after his dad gave me and my bro and sis a lift.
So, in all honesty I cant asay what I thought of the music or anything. However, I certainly enjoyed myself, so its a

I would like to apologise to a bunch of ladies that I managed to spray with beer. If your on here please accept my sincerest apology's. apparantly the beer can wouldnt open as the ring bit came off, so i had to force it open and then it went everywhere.

I had a good time back at Chris's. Good to meet those who I met from this site.

erm, thats about it really.

sorry again

Was a truely classic night again, thanks to everyone who came down and showed your support.

It felt good to be behind the decks again was a bit nervous to start with but when i started with the funky techno i started getting into a groove and saw everyone enjoying themselves!

Nikolai missed your set last time but i don't think i'll be mmissing many more! well done mate, storming set! Chris played an awesome set again proper banging by the end and setting it up nicely for Freb Baker, the man of few words! Amazing set by the fella, who was playing some funky joints at the start of his set and finished off with 'Forever Friends' amazing!

as always looking forward to the next kubik. Take it easy everyone, see you soon

What a fuckin awesome night!!!! One of the best events so far.

All the DJ's were on top form, JagDeep, Nikolai and of course Fred Baker. Music just flowed so well all night.

Massive massive thanks to all the people that came down, quite a few of the regulars wern't able to make it but thats cool, so many new faces and the academy filled up really quickly. Thanks again to all that came down was a proper boss night! ;-)

Apolgies for the one last tune, was totally out of my control that one, but hey, it'l be sorted for next time guys... promise.

Made up you all had a good night, cya again soon xx

Another quality night. Tunes were ace from start to finish and the crowd is the friendliest out of any club I've been to bar none.

Bit gutted there wasn't an afterparty - we ended up going the Magnet and it was full of unsavoury suit wearing types - so I left pretty quickly. Probably a good thing though due to work on saturday - still managed to lose my concentration during many a conversation with customers. Working on saturday should be banned lol!

Looking forward to the next one already.

Unfortunately I had to leave after only having been there about 40 minutes, but I can at least say I was enjoying Jag's set! All I can say is bring on the next one, where I assume I'll be able to stay for the duration.
Nice one Chris and co., see you next month!

Loving the shouts at the end:

'Techno, Techno, Techno, Techno...!' and so on.

Was a leg-end of a session! :)
