Dont tend to go to Garlands much anymore these days as im more a tech house person but as my holiday romance from ibiza came down from glasgow this weekend i thought id go there for a change with her. walked up and one of the doormen was questioning me bout if i had been b4, if i new what it was about, i shouldnt wear my flip flops, made me put my ciggy out in the quee just to be a nobhead!
fair does the bouncers have got to be abit like that at a gay club but not to a lad who is with 2 girls, long straightned hair and ripped jeans done up to his ankles!
The doomen on that place need to sort there attitudes out,

u need to have a word with urself mate, there best doormen in the country, i get around and the doormen where i went in miadstone mde u take of shoes if they had spikes and didnt give them back till the end!!! and they searched everywhere with right attitudes on em

I dont need to have words with myself m8, i get around myself and have never come across doormen like the ones at garlands and the Gbar.almost everytime i go there theres something that pisses me off bout the doormen.Ive seen them at the gbar just throw a lad in the street an say " go the pleasure rooms lad ". Im sure if the lad wanted to go the pleasure he wouldnt be queein for the gbar.
End of the day! they are all on steds and agressve as fuck! Everywhere i have been i have never come across a more agressive bunch of stedheads in my life.

the doormen/women were really nice to us

they had a bit of a moan coz we had all our luggage with us for the weekend! but to be fair we both had 2 big bags!

they were nice all night always smiling when they walked past us and not making us feel guity for not doing anything wrong like some bouncers do

at least they let you in

bouncers at the cross refuse entry for anyone in sandals etc for safety reasons :-)

Fair does but although im not a regular at garlands and the gbar I have been goin there for a while and i dont think there has been a time they havent been funny in some way or another. Its mainly at the gbar but garlands aswell.
im not sayin they are like this with every1 but to single me out when i am blantently not a chav and im with 2 girls is pathetic.
Its the one thing that puts me off goin the place, Circus doesnt have doorman like that and Circus never has any trouble. Maybe garlands need to rethink their secruity issues

i agree with bruiced they are definatley akward with u mainly at G bar though garlands are still bad for it aswell. although it is a good night it aint dirty enough i prefer dirty twisted electro tech house miles better. think i am going this weekend for (bora bora dj gee) he is playing bank holiday. u should go brucied

GARLANDS IS ACE DOORMEN JUST GOT A JOB TO DO. THERE IS NO HASSLE AT ALL IN GARLANDS DONT YOU THINK THEY ARE THE REASON WHY? WHEN I STAYED IN THE POOL I WENT TO GARLANDS MOST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS. EASY THE BEST CLUB IN LIVERPOOL. I WOULD ALSO GO TO THE PLEASURE ROOMS AND GO THERE .. THERE THE BOUNCERS REALLY ARE WEAPONS. AS MY MATE FOUND OUT ONE TIME WE WERE IN!!!

garlands' doormen are best I've come across! If you're goin for the very first time it can be a bit of a struggle gettin in, theyl ask you loads of questions etc but other than that, the fact that you never really see any trouble in there is testament to them doin a good job in my opinion...

they were really helpful one night in particular when they didnt have to be...

Ive seen doormen ALOT worse than in garlands ! ! !

the garlands doormen are there to do a SPECIFIC job
as a regular around liverpool and a regular close friend of the garlands family i can assure you that the garlands doormen are by far the best behaved!

they do such a good job keeping out the none garlands crowd!
i personally have 1 gripe with one particular doorman on garlands. but i put that down to his individual attitude and do not take it personally!

trust me you need to respect the job the garlands doormen do as they make it a pleaseant place to be, that, i'm sure YOU would appreciate!

TBH i have to agree with slider the garlands bouncers are prob the beat in the country, they do there job well, and if they dont like the look of u filp flops or not then thats down to there own judgment, and they have alot to go on, maybe it was beacuse they singled you Bruiced you felt you had to complain,but they do a good job!!!
