gutted, i start uni in liverpool in september and the first trance night on there in ages is the same night as ds!! how rude!!

So its on the same night as DS? Didnt think of that, but to be honest were doing this to try and get something decent started in Liverpool again for us trance heads!

Our first event is in the Lemon Lounge, as were testing the waters with this one....see how many of you are igetting involved, the venue isnt massive and were really hoping to fill it....but who knows....onwards and upwards to a bigger venue if it takes off?

I love travelling for trance, Gods and Crasher whenever possible, as well as Trance Energy, Godskitchen in Kiev, AO Poland & Holland and Dance Valley the Saturday just gone....but what about Liverpool? Would be nice to have a monthly event in town again.

In October we have Cream resident ROB H, big year for Rob this year he's really doing well for himself and were glad he's coming down to Translucent on its opening night. He'll be back from doing Creamfields and Cream in Amnesia this summer as well.

2009 - The DJ - Richie has rebranded & is now Richard Alexander & Alexander - after a strange but brief affair with House he is back to what he knows best - TRANCE - progressive, melodic & all round proper TRANCE!

Andy Cain is a good friend of mine, he has loved trance for as long as I have and it was our idea to get this started, he's been getting better and better over the last few months, and I am sure he'll deliver.

Also we have Graham Styles as well. Graham has been a DJ & producer for years, making lots of his own stuff in various genres....but for Translucent he is going back to what he started on....TRANCE! Expect some big old classics from Graham.

Sounds really good dude. I was thinking that when I got settled at uni I might try and start a trance night in Liverpool but it seems you beat me to it! Would love it to be on another night though haha!

Just dont try and contend with The Hotel California in Birkenhead....they have trance in the beer garden, 1st Saturday of every month! ;-)
