It's cold and wintery outside and the nights still get dark early, but fear not there is a glimmer of light that will brighten London's clubbing horizon: Saturday 7th March sees the launch of the Shake It! warehouse parties at the Southwark Arches on Great Suffolk Street in London's SE1. This will be the first of four exclusive warehouse parties in London this year, not only that, Shake It! will also be hosting a tent at this year's SW4 Festival later in the summer. Shake It! is brought to you by DJs Laurent Garnier and Layo & Bushwacka! and the team behind The End. Liam will be running the show (as he did for 13 years on West Central Street), there will be the same bar teams, sound and lighting crews, security and even the guys running the taxis! But apart from reuniting some familiar faces, Shake It! is about starting something fresh and exciting for 2009, and bringing together two of The End’s most popular residents; Laurent Garnier hosting room one all night long and Layo & Bushwacka hosting the second room all night as well. It’s currently all systems go here at Shake It! HQ. Having launched our new website www.shakeitlondon.com just over a week ago, the warehouse has had its sound system installed. The décor has been signed off and all the furniture ordered and we’re in the process of putting the finishing touches to the visuals… Tickets are available in advance from www.ticketweb.co.uk and also on the door.
