This article is about 54 :: Mile End in London (UK)

The east end has seen a resurgence in venues and events as the east London vibe grows and grows - there is life after Shoreditch folks!

One the the leading lights in the east end scene is without a doubt 54 Mile End. The venue itself oozes industrial cool with a minimal feel upstairs bar and neon-lit basement backed up with a full-fat Funktion One soundsystem...who could ask for more?

On Friday 27th June the Mono mayhem rolls into town as we debut at 54 with some very special guests. In the basement with have non other than Stu Hirst! Stu has always been a firm fav with the Mono crowd and his recent successes both behind the decs and in the studio go to show he is certainly one of houses musics future heros. Steve Lawler has been a constant champion of Stus sound and has signed his latest track to his Viva Toronto mix and the legendary Dave Seaman has been quick to follow by featuring another of Stus tracks on his Renaissance Masters compilation. True testament to one of house musics shinning stars!

In the upstairs bar we have FHD records.
