MINIMAR @ BAR 54 JANUARY 26TH
After four rocking parties at Heaven, Minimar opens its darker dirty little sister at Bar 54 in Shoreditch on 26th January. With Phil Drummond set to destroy the place with a live/DJ set, the Minimar crew have huddled together to cook up a stonking January party, you can rest assured that Minimar will be making the music a lot weirder and wobblier, to keep you bouncing all night in the cosy confines of Bar 54.
For the launch at 54 Minimar brings a wealth of aural goodness from around London. Phil Drummond has been stirring up Shoreditch over the last few years with his twisted, deep grooves, as well as hammering parties all over Europe with the likes of Paul Jackson, Jose Nunez, Seb Fontaine, Chris Lake, D.Ramirez and Tim Sheridan to name a few, Phil is ready to push Minimar to the limit both musically and mentally. Guesting at all the biggest minimal techno clubs London has to offer right now including Retox @Sosho, 54, the 333 club, 93 feet and Egg. He has ‘soon to be released’ tracks with both Paul Jackson and The Beginerz as well as under his new guise “The Polyphonic Prostitutes”. As if that wasn't enough, we've also roped in London-based nutter Bones and Minimar Italian resident Simone Mora, who are going head-to-head LIVE firing the deepest, wonkiest sounds at each other that'll keep your head twitching and your legs freaking.
Simone Mora will be getting the bar fired up early, so make sure you get to the club for 10pm to get the maximum amount of twisted tomfoolery possible. Mora will be playing with a choice selection of lush, melodic techno and minimal that will keep you moving till dawn.
With all the usual high-jinx, dodgy vodka-jelly and friendly faces it looks set to go off....
