Deviate was born on the streets of East London back in 2002 on a planet over-saturated with mediocrity and ever plagued by the rising stench of commercial bullshit. Deviate soon realised that revolution was our only means of escape from the imminent self destruction of mankind. A revolution of minds. A revolution of music.

Deviate cannot be pidgeon-holed. We run on a super high frequency; each blip, break and bass tone finely tuned and different from its previous. Deviate likes to mix it up! We showcase across a broad musical spectrum, dipping in and out of genres with every live performance.Deviate's primary objectives are to leave pretentiousness at the front door, and fill the dancefloor with good vibes. Our line-ups are consistently innovative and eclectic, with each venue providing unique and intimate surroundings.

Deviate prides itself in supporting a variety of new breaking acts (Man Like Me, Merka and BREAK) alongside well-respected big hitting artists guaranteed to ram out any club (Jehst, London Elektricity, Ben Westbeech). We also boast an impressive roster of in house resident artists we like to call our 'Local Heroes' namely Mike Jones, Ryde, Mikey Shift, DL (R.E.D.S) Chris Kitchen, DJ Exel and Text Offenders, whose varied talents keep the crowd on their toes as well as attracting a regular following of faithful fans. Some of Deviate’s most memorable nights have been its resident parties!

Our line-ups are consistently innovative and eclectic, with each venue providing unique and intimate surroundings. Since our humble beginning @ 333 and Herbal, Deviate has branched out as far afield as Leeds, Newcastle and even Malawi. Now 5 years down the line and we're back to smash it in the Big Smoke @ 93 Feet East (Shoreditch) and The Social (West End)!

Deviate is honest, wholesome fun. We sidestep the swankiest venues and always opt for spaces that work in toe to the music and give our crowds the best atmosphere to lose themselves. While the night is growing, it most definitely stays true to the reason it was started in the first place and that being to party. 2008 is set to be a very special year, so please.....
