Halloween C64 Re-Launch Party - we have lift off!
C64 heads onwards and upwards once more after one fine year at Clockwork and what better time to mutate than a Halloween Special?! The party returns in its 5th incarnation with a brand new home, more space to dance, different sounds to explore, some much needed state-of-the-art air-con and the phattest most monumental line-up yet!!!
No tricks, only treats. It's the night of All Souls so if you haven't made it down in a while come out of exile and join us for a devilish deliverance by the Higher Status Crew - we'd really appreciate your support for this hell-raising new housewarming...
Hell's Bells, this is gonna be one monster night!!! C64 celebrates it's new home just South of the River with two rooms to grow into, a 6am finish and a Halloween line-up to die-for! Next week's extravaganza brings together the phattest heavyweight sounds of the underworld in the main room from Atomic Hooligan (TBC) General Midi, Rogue Element, Ctrl-Z with MC Ken Mac, home boys DEF inc. and all the way from Belarus, I.V.F. Er...need we really say more?
And adding a brand new dimension to the C64 experience we open the doors to the C64 Social Club! Head over to the tropical Chill-Out Room where our DJs will be spinning a blend of hip-hop,dub, leftfield, loungecore, world fusion and more...downtempo grooves where you can actually hear yourself talking for a change and have yourself a breather from the main room action. Perfect if you're not having a large one but still want to catch up with all the family, we're taking it back to our original house party roots! We're looking forward to introducing loads of new developments to this room over the next few months but in the meantime let the Finger Lickin' Funk Allstars, Don Sonik, Hemlock, DJ Infidel and Amy b2b Andy Blake create an alternative ambient space for you to chill-out in...
Starting at 10pm and stretching out till 6am C64 will take on a whole new flavour and keep you busy till the trains start up again - so pace yourself and stay with us. And if you still need bringing down to Earth after all that we'll be running an Open Decks Afterparty a short bus/tube/cab ride away at a cool and quirky underground Brixton club. With a 24hr license and friendly security, this place really is a home from home...you can stay as long as you like/need to!
With the Higher Status Crew at the helm you can expect the usual all-round rocking party vibes and positive energy delivered with inimitable style and substance. Make sure you get down early to lift off that dancefloor with the spirit of free parties...you really won't want to miss a second!

C64 is a non-profit making party with no fixed door fee but we appreciate the contribution of a voluntary donation if you can manage it, however small, towards entertainers' travel expenses so they are not left out of pocket and so we can continue building these nights. Here's the concept: we give, you give - simple!
C64 promotes and supports a different charity each month with all profits generated. Out of all our nights Halloween most visibly brings out and unites the wildly diverse tribes on the dancefloor so this month's recipients of donations is the organisation Survival International who's outstanding work promotes respect for tribal cultures worlwide and helps support tribal people's rights to defend and protect their lives and land from the oppression that takes place in the name of 'economic growth.'
