Peppermint Parties - Picnic in the Park 2007.

Its that time again when we give it all we've got to raise money for cancer research & Just4Mick, A few weeks to go so that means time to let the tease begin.

As many of you know this is the biggest payday of the year for us so we like to do a proper job to keep you entertained all day & Night. The peppermint virgins that dont know us would probably like to know what we do with all the money from this event so well let you know. In true Peppermint parties style fuck the money we're not greedy we take out costs and give the whole lot staight to charity. Theres a 3way split this year peeps a third to Cancer Research, a third straight to Justmicks family and the final third goes to a very good friend of ours whos 1 year old little girl has just been diagnosed with lukemia (Sorry for the spelling). Our events aint big business to us thats the key to our success it's purely a hobby fast becoming a very big exspensive hobby, LOL. Oh well as the saying goes "in for a penny in for a pound" its nice that peppermint has grown over the years as it lets us help other people out who need a bit of support. We're more than happy breaking even on the event and getting bang on it with you load of nutters. Maybe one day we may need abit of help hopfully theres people out there like us who got time for us when we need it, Till then we'll keep on doing what we do and hope for the best.

All the Music and DJ's from your favorite club nights but this time we do it open air & you can bring the whole family down. All we ask is you put a donation in the collection buckets on the way in for Cancer Research. As before this is a day for the whole family so no excuses be sure to bring the kids, your nan & Grandad who ever you like. We're laying on loads this year so there will be something for everyone. The basics include: 2 Areas of music (House & Oldskool), BBQ's, fully licenced bars, Bouncey castle, loads of sports for the whole family, kids Fairground rides, rodeo bull plus loads loads more. So you know we've booked the artic lorry trailers for the stage's (Just to give it that oldskool feel) plus we've upped the sound systems to about 35k (So far, lol) across all 3 music zones. The Dj line up is the biggest we've had to date. We've got a 16ton truck full to the roof of booze for us all in me nans back garden, The fairground rides are booked we've already secured the week-end licence for the sat & sun so all we need to know is whos up for a night under the stars with the peppermint team?

This one is the latest in a long line of fund raisers and something tells me this wont be the last. Look forward to seeing you all there.
