SLAANG has hit London, and its hit London hard. Forget purpose built superclubs, each of SLAANG's one-off, anomalous parties are the bleeding edge, the joie de vivre of today's scene - with a nod to our acid house past, but both feet firmly in the future, sparking a freakish collision between the heroes of rave and rock, the avant-garde leaders of indie and electro and an edgy, like-minded, dontgiveaf**k generation of frolicking hedonists.
The first two events sold out in record time, SLAANG Part One saw Mystery Jets, The Futureheads and Sweetlight storming a Shoreditch warehouse, SLAANG Part Two witnessed Para One and Kissy Sell Out with air horns blazing (and an impromptu but welcome gatecrash from The Infadels) orchestrating a legendary rave up under the labyrinth passages of London Bridge... acid house pedigree that simply cannot be manufactured.
The penultimate chapter, SLAANG Part Three will rise, but not until after the summer... However fear not; we’ve hatched a plan to keep our teeth whet until that time comes.
On Saturday June 9th we're going below ground to throw a party. It's a one-off, invite-only, in a much smaller, more intimate space with a capacity of only 400 - We'll be descending upon an unsuspecting part of deepest, darkest London and hijacking a brand new site never previously used like this before. We're bringing the world's first Deadset LIVE performance (Front Room), Friendly Fires (DJset), Bobby M (SLAANG/ISSST), Kevin Griffiths (ISSST/Tsuba) and more... SLAANG presents: Fake Religion.

Fake Religion brings future music now and you're about to hear a lot more from Deadset. With their debut album "Keys Open Doors" about to be released into the wild on Jesse Rose's acclaimed Front Room imprint the tipping point has arrived for this two man team. Before Deadset1 and Deadset2 came into being they played in the sandpit with the likes of Muse, Miss Kittin, Röyksopp, Tiefschwarz, Justin Timberlake, and Scissor Sisters on labels such as Fine, Souvenir (Tiefschwarz’s label) and Wall of Sound.
