Azuli’s Secret Summer comes to London

Azuli remember one of the best summer’s yet with a Secret Reunion party on Saturday 8th November, London, EC1

Azuli took a slightly different approach to the summer season of 2008 in Ibiza. Having spent the last four years developing a reputation as one of the best parties on the island - first at El Divino and then moving on to the world’s best club Space, this year they opted for the beach party approach.

Much has been publicised about the club closures and new restricted opening times, seeing an end to the after party culture the island had become so famous for. Now the island’s authorities were seeking a more controlled approach with fewer spots to play music in the open air and no dancing between 6am and 4pm. So it seemed like a brave move to defy the ban and take the party to the beach but this is exactly what Azuli did with a now legendary series of beach azuli parties.

Each one was only promoted by date with clubbers invited to buy tickets online. Only once you owned a ticket and inputted your phone number would you be told of the location of where the party was to take by place by SMS text message the day before.

Each one took place at a stunning Ibiza location with a backdrop of cliff faces and blue sea, while the great and good of Ibiza danced on the sand. In true Azuli style they invited a few friends along to come and play records, these included Andy Cato from Groove Armada, Pete Tong, Yousef, Crazy P sang live, Italy’s Alex Neri and many more joined the party over the four months.

It was truly a summer and parties to remember, those that were there will tell you the same. So now Azuli pitch up one last stand to the great memories of the summer with a huge Ibiza reunion to take place on Saturday 8th November. But Azuli bring the same spirit with them, not revealing the location until the night before via text message. Capacity is also limited so you’re advised to get your tickets early.
