Music : Deep House, Tech House and Minimal Techno

Dear Junglebelly,

The summer is here and what better way to celebrate, than to have an outdoor party in one of the coolest, sexy outdoor venues, London has to offer. The Secret Garden has never been used for a club event and we are counting down the days to whip out our sunnies and let the party commence. Click on link to view. facebook.com

As we know, there is a recipe to creating the perfect party, so you will be happy to know that we have all the ingredients in store and more. To create musical bliss, we have called upon three super-talented DJ/Producers from around Europe.

I am delighted to announce that flying in from Sardinia, we are being graced by the master of driving deep techno grooves, Massimo Licari. In the mid 80s, he first started to take interest in new wave music, and within a short time, he developed a broad musical background. In 1998, he started DJing in Cagliari’s night clubs and in 2004; he created the Minimal Hospital project in Sardinia, where the minimal techno movement was yet to be discovered. Massimo has supported different artists, such as: Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Steve Bug, Heartthrob, Troy Pierce, Guido Schneider, David Squillace, John Gaiser, Ryan Crosson, Alexi Delano and many more.

We will also be serenaded by the cheeky driving sounds of Daniel. He has been obsessed with dance music from an early age and who has been DJing alongside big name DJs, in top clubs, for top promoters. In 2002, he emerged on the house scene and was soon playing London clubs, such as: The Cross, Turnmills and Pacha, as well as DJing in Marbella and Ibiza. During a 2004 holiday in Ibiza, he was inspired by tech house and then worked on his "BI>POLAR" production material, with co-producer Bradley Acton. He now regularly plays all over London, including the infamous Public Life, alongside some of house and techno's biggest names, including: Stephan Bodzin, Phil Kieran, Robert Owens, Phil Thompson and DJ Disciple. His latest project is Cerca Trova, which since it was launched last year, has been causing quite a stir in London.

The renowned David Elkabas will be taking a break from touring with Technotronic and his role as A & R, to spin his mix of deep underground house. David has been passionately and professionally involved with house music since he was a teenager, when at 16 he was one of the founders of MN2S. His day to day duties consist of signing and developing records as A&R for various record labels, including MN2S and 1trax, whilst creating and producing his own tracks and remixes for labels such as Phil Weeks' Robsoul. In 2006, David, inspired by summers living in Ibiza and his passion for new music, was introduced to the world of deeper minimal house, leading to a string of new productions, remixes and recent DJ sets, alongside the likes of Pier Bucci, James Watt & Dan Berkson and Tobi Neumann.
