Into the washing machine is a new night in East London. It's aim? Simple really... to recreate the vibe and good times of your good old fashioned house party (but without having those pesky neighbours spoiling the show > you know who you are Flat 2 and 5) Expect a heady mix of house music, from deep / jackin early on in the night (to get those heads nodding), moving through to tech / minimal and maybe even a sprinkling of prog / techno to round it off Our special guest for the evening is Olanskii. Hailing from Norway, his Sunkissed night in Oslo has been running for an incredible 6 years. In 2007 alone, his guests included a veritable who’s who of current in-demand DJs – from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos and M.A.N.D.Y to The Glimmers and Hot Chip. He hasn’t exactly been resting on his laurels in foggy London town either. Olanskii has worked with the music programme at the nottinghillartsclub where he conceived the night Horny Pony with Rob Mello and Zak Frost. An electrofunk night that also incorporated an impressive span of live acts; from The Rip Off Artist, Spektrum and Hot Chip to Magne Furuholmen (of A-ha fame), M-Craft and King Midas. Lately Olanskii has been concentrating more on promoting the Sunkissed name abroad, resulting in several appearances at Fabric. We also have the Chez Nous Lads along playing a b2b set sure to set the night alight.
