Amazing Night
That was possibly the most amazing single night Ive ever had out!

AMAZING CROWD (not 10,000 though I don't think??)
GREAT LIVE PERFORMANCES
ALL OF THE CLASSIC TUNES
FIREWORKS
ICE CANNONS
BRAZILIAN DONUTS STAND
THE BIGGEST BIG SCREEN EVER
SOUTHERN SUN TO FINISH
AND EVEN SOME HARD TRANCE TUNES

Oh and not forgetting...

TIESTO..........WITH A SMILE THIS YEAR.
Such a difference to last year at Brixton Academy where he looked completely dis-interested in what he was doing. Made such a difference to the crowd that he had found 'it' again.

Ok, the entry queue was a joke, but that was the only bad point of the entire night!

Ohhhh interesting, i was expecting loads of topics/comments about how disappointed people were about last night but quite the opposite!!

The queue took the royal piss, 2 hours was a fe@king joke, i would have expeceted a night and venue of this calibre to have been able to handle the crowd numbers...........but NO! It would have made a massive difference to the night and the vibe if a third of the crowd hadnt of been outside in the cold!

The vibe and atmosphere wasnt up to much i didnt think, along similar lines to what one of the guys posted in this thread. I have seen Tietso many a time in lots of different venues and countries and you could feed off the excitement and electricity in the crowd, but not last nite. 10,000 people??!?! ummm i would never have guessed i had loads of room to move around and dance i was expecting [perhaps wrongly] to have a packed out arena?

And the production, again was expecting a spectacle but it just didnt cut it. I saw faithless at the same venue and it was in a whole different league to last night. Ive seen the effort Tiesto can put into his production in other clubs/countries majorly dissapointed with his attempt last night really wasnt anything special or memorable.

All in all was a good night, but its the last time i will ever do a 10 hour round trip to see Tiesto or go to Alexandra Palace, such a disappointment!

There's always one innit hehe

We should all be able to have our say.... out of 10,000 (?) people you can't please everyone!

re: the queue... fair point! nobody can dispute that. In Holland they just don't ever have those problems..
re: the production.... it was great, but compared to say Tiesto in Concert at the Gelredome you might have been disappointed.

All in all was a good night

and that's the main thing!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was an awesome party, great tunes, amazing lights and lasers and cool crowd.

The only disappointment was queueing for two and a half hours and ended up missing the start of his set! Did they not realise that there would be so many people? Could they not have extra entrances or let me people through at a time?

Anyway, it was great to see Tiesto for a massive long set!! He rocked it and it was the best night I've had in ages.

I also thought it was a great night, have been to loads of Dutch events and nothing compares to those in the UK, and I always go home disappointed after a UK event, but I went home Friday having an amazing time, was well impressed with the whole set up, Visuals were just brilliant, apart from the Q which ok it took a while but at least it was moving fairly quickly.

Def the best UK night I've been to in a very long time.

well you would think that tiesto being as big as he is there would be a big que there not going to let everyone in the venue if it doesnt open till 10, so maybe get there earlier i got there at 9:15 and i was in by 10.

it didnt hold 10,000 people last night im sure it can but there wasnt that many people it was way in the 1000's but not that high, and was you at the friont it was rammed!! no one could move we had to jump and dance together at the same time like a bunch of fish trapped in a net!!

Amazing amazing!!!!! I was just so overwhelmed at how awesome it was!!!

The most amazing people i've been stuck in a huge venue with, we got chattin to so many fabby randomers and we had room to dance!!!!! Brill!! Was so cool too with the air con which is brill when you just wanna dance all night!!! The choons were fab and I just felt soooooo ace when Diary of Jane came on at 6am after I thought i'd missed it from bein stuck in that crappy queue!!!

Always have the memory of the peeps who stayed untiul 6.10am dancing away to Diary of Jane n Southern Sun!! Bring on my 2nd hooooj trance event!!!!

BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!! TIESTO IS A LEGEND, THEY DONT CALL HIM THE BEST IN THE WORLD FOR NOTHING!

and yea i agree its nice to see someone enjoying what they were doing, it made the experience so much better.
It was an absolutely stunning performance, visualy and ofcourse the tunes were excelent,
I know there wewre alot of ppl critisisin the queing, but at the end of the day it was WELL worth the wait. It probs even made it better, waiting outside in the cold for so long just made you wanna get inside even more
and fukin hell wen he started playin adiago for strings...WOW! what a reaction, he dropped it perfectly!

WELL DONE TIESTO!

What a quality night, Probably tune of the night for me was Ayla or when he played Forever Today. And not forgetting Whamdue Prject King of my Castle!!! Somehow Tiesto is that good he gets away with playing it. Never thought I would hear him spin that!!!

And how bloody hot were those flames? haha no need to go on holiday anymore with the tan those badboys gave me!

Prepare to be slightly disappointed at whatever event you go to next then, cos its gonna have to be really something special to even come close to Friday night!! I reckon South West 4 this year is gonna be great though, especially with PvD headlining!
