Maybe you did start speaking to her in private, but this thread didn't start off as a private thread. Teaz commented on the photo, which then creates a public thread where anyone can comment.

I think maybe you were chatting in private to her then moved to this thread, thinking you were still chatting in private. :)

Oh, and you probably thought this was a private thread because it was only you two speaking here.
