Independently owned by four friendly locals, 'the Arches' is a welcome relief from the uniformity of Clapham's chain bars. Need to wind down after work? Head to the arches for a relaxing drink and a game of table footie or pool any day of the week. Or watch the match on the biggest screen in Clapham. The friendly staff and regulars will always make you feel at home, and after a couple of visits, you'll feel like a regular too. At the weekends Arch 635 moves uptempo: live DJs play soul, funky house and disco for a mixed crowd of party lovers from 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights. When it's all over, wind down again on our sofas with the Sunday papers and a bloody Mary. Sunday nights are a relaxed affair with sounds of yesteryear to ease you into the week ahead.
