Q.1. So Ania can you tell us a bit about yourself, and describe the style of music you play?

A.1. I come from Poland but since last year i am residing In UK, because here i have a Chance to develop my skills and fulfill my dreams and ambitions . Now I started music productions. My track ‘I’ll House You’ will go out in next month in Brazil label – Renno Records, and maybe in this month Angel Kiss feat Wibidee – Freak germany label SurePlayer.U can listen tracks on www.myspace.com/djangelkiss .As far as music is concerned I play house music,progressive,tech house going thru electro to minimal.If I would have to describe it shortly it would be “I play what I feel,and it gives me full of enjoynment”.

Q.2. Who (or what) inspires you? And what influences did you have when starting your journey into music?

A.2. I am interested in club music since hmmm… Honestly?!I really don’t remember, when it started, but I got flash of my memories when I used to watch Love Parade with my brother in TV set and I guess that was the beginning. Later things became much easier, as long as I started to spend a lot of time in clubs with my friends which were residents in those places. I guess It really started when I asked my ex-bf for few lessons of DJ’ing and help me to start with all these stuff. And I think that’s the way the thing goes on.

Q.3. So what can we expect from you on the 19TH OF September at the AREA, do you have anything special planed for the Poison crowd?

A:3. I want to surprise you with new fresh sounds and beats coming all over the world,and present my productions as well. Let’s make this party outstanding and unforgettable for everyone.

Q.4. How from your point of view does the club scene in U.K differ from the Polish one?

A.4. First visible difference is time of providing new productions and music to Poland. We have small delay with getting hottest track which are already known in UK.As we all know UK has a lot of producers, promoting their new sounds while playing at Clubs. Second difference is that in Poland we have a lot of clubs and here is so many Pubs (and I really don’t get it why is that :P).I guess people doesn’t seem to be different and both polish and english listeners are great , nice and outgoing. I am happy that polish level of production and promotion gets higher, growing so fast and let us organize cycles of events for example Hed Kendii which takes place every year in Warsaw. Moreover we are stil working on music promotion,organizing a lot of events with well-known names in music industry.

Q.5. What influence do you think polish community is having on the U.K club scene, with so many new artist coming

A.5. I can easily tell that polish Dj’s are more often seeing and playing in UK clubs, and also think it have connection with the quantity of polish people living in UK.
Polish community influences UK club scene by introducing a lot of fresh beats. Polish artists and producers add up their own ideas, and having participation in creating UK club scene. Many Polish producers cooperate with several widely know English music producers forming own record labels or artistic agencies. For example I will mention Groove Land rec. with Emil Falek or Sixxa. We can see fast growing number of polish artists released in british record labels, making their work more impressive and interesting to listeners. My own production called “Freak” also has a british accent, we could hear british artist – Wibidee. Going back to producers I would want to tell that many polish artist like Jacob Seville, Jarek Czechwoski,Slg,3Channels,Marcin Czubala, Fusion F,WaWa,Dervish, Mr.Root, Jakub Rene Kosik and many more are well know and highly rated artists on british club scene. It is amazing, how often we have a chance to hear polish productions in UK Clubs and it makes me happy that we have an influence and accents on Your Music Scene.

Q.6. If you could pick three tracks that are always firmly placed in your record box/ cd case what would they be?

A.6.(laugh) at the beginning I would mention my own productions but there is a few pieces that takes special places in my record box. Of course that depends what sort of music we’re talking about but my three top up of house music are:
-Supafly – Catch me when I’m falling (full intention dub)

- Antoine Clamaran – Spotlight.

Q.7. What is the most memorable event that you played at, here or abroad?
A:Most of events that I played were really good and gives me a lot of great memories. The Best of the Best was Party at Flash Club in Czestochowa where the people initiate an unbelivable atmosphere. Those moments I will never forget ,because this one was really special. However I like to get back in my memories to open air festivals at Castle in Sandomierz, Cracow and Warsaw. I have many places/cities that I will remember for a long time,a few of them are Warsaw, Cracow, Lomza, Czestochowa. Also british community and atmosphere seems to be unforgettable and I think I will remember it forever.

Q.8. Ania if you had a top ten list of things that you still want to do in career, what would be the top three?

A.8. It’s a really tough question hehe…I think creating and producing new sets of sounds and beats , making people satisfied while they’ll be listening to my music. Still want to play at Clubs, so DJ’ing will be inscribe for the rest of my life hehe. For now, I think the biggest achievement would be having my own studio.
