The Jump Off is a Hip Hop Sports Entertainment Night held the first Monday of every month at Astoria 2 (Formerly Mean Fiddler) A night dedicated to Street Dance Crews, BBoy/BGirls Crews, MC's, Comedians, Urban Fashion Designers, Ballers and general Booty Shakers to showcase there talent! We hold Street Dance battles, BBoy battles, Booty Shaking battles and MC battles for cash prizes! We are also hosting the 1st round of Dance Madness 2008 at Jump Off this December 3rd! Dance Madness is a 32 crew, 4 month, street dance tournament held at The Jump Off from December 3rd 2007 - March 16th 2008. The ultimate winning crew get an all expenses paid trip to New York in April where they get entry and have there own showcase at the anual Choreographers Ball being held in New York on April 8th 2008! Top industry choreographer Kymberlee Jay is hosting the whole event and there will be a panel of industry judges such as music vid directors, choreographers, casting agents etc!!
