Get Diverted's launch of their residency at Babalou is finally here!

And we are launching it in style with possibly the UK's most prolific funky house DJ's -Seamus Haji. With this coinciding with his chartbound remixes of Indeep's Last Night a DJ Saved my Life - a full house is more than expected!!

Now unless you have been confined to the four walls of your house you have all probably been grooving away to the ever prolific Mr Haji's production during the last few years. Just look at 2006 with which he (along with Paul Emanuel on many but not all) did a number of amazing remixes which really cemented their signature sound and spawned many imitators. Tom Novy “Your Body”, Mish Mash “Speechless”, Degrees of Motion “Do U Want It Right Now”, Paul Harris “Find Yourself A Friend”, Dajae “Brighter Days”, Sugababes “Easy” were just some of Seamus’ remix highlights in 2006 culminating in his fantastic remix of Booty Luv’s “Boogie 2Nite” which took the record to No 2 in the Nationals.

However less of you may have been fortunate enough to see one of his legendry dj'ing sets. To get a flavour of his style check his Big Love Sessions on Ministry of Sound from July 2006 - awesome. And as a turntable technician his skills do not disappoint - he is well know for his trickery with the Pioneer CDJ 1000's. So basically he is just all round fucking ace and if he is reading this he'll probably think I fancy him so I'll move on.... (check his full biog on www.biglovemusic.co.uk)

For those who have not been to Babalou since it's re-fit from it's days as Bug Bar March 10 is your night to check it out. It features original crypt architecture, North African style lamps, sturdy wooden tables and sumptuous velvet booths. It's sound system is bassy and raw and with a low ceiling the atmosphere when it goes off really is second to none.

And for those of you who have not checked our nights out at Living Bar, then let's just say we're all about good vibes and friendly people, pretence and arrogance is not our bag. Whilst we're serious about our music we're even more serious about having fun.. so let the good times roll!

For concessions please e-mail guestlist@getdiverted.com

See you in The Crypt people!
