Disciples of Sound Getting Diverted at Babalou this Saturday

On November 10th St Matthews Church will again be the spiritual setting where Get Diverted give service to the South London masses. This months gathering will see the Disciples of Sound preaching sermon at Babalou’s holy altar. Expect a quality fusion of electronic house sounds and a bunch of top notch dj's who are set to rock the Crypt.

Disciples Of Sound are defining themselves as one of house music’s most prolific new artists, with a unique dirty electronic sound that is earning acclaim from the dj'ing elite across the globe. Their scorching sets are charged with energy and their rocketing profiles have seen them play to full dance floors at The End, Ministry of Sound and on the global circuit from South Africa to the United States. Their productions have received huge support from Steve Lawler and having remixed this summers big Ibiza tune - “Dubfire - Roadkill” they are destined for even greater things.

Alongside the Disciples will be Mike Mackeeg, co-founder of Illicit Audio, a talented collective of DJ's and producers who have Totalhousemusic as their trademark, so expect Mike to be playing a genre crossing blend of house music. Mike is a technically gifted DJ, who will be incorporating a live element to his set at Get Diverted by using M-Audio's Torq. 2006 saw his first studio production entitled "Breathe" being snapped up by the Jack Digitals imprint, following studio dates have provided more success with his first 4 now being scheduled for release. One to watch for 2008....

Providing top notch support will be Sneal, a DJ who is already well accustomed to rocking South London's dance floors, being resident at the hedonistic Throb. DJ magazine describe his sound as being progressive without the plod and he is currently one of London's most in demand DJ's, holding down regular spots at Jnr's Jamm and Electric Boogaloo.

Continuing Get Diverted's affiliation with fellow house aficionados Shiva, this month we bring another resident in the shape of T-On-J - who totally rocked their last July party at Canvas. Completing the line are two of London's best young talents Toby Andrews and Olie Hackett who have already been making waves across London clubland with their Analog parties.

Quality line up, great venue and friendly up for it crowd!!

See you in the Crypt people!!
