Londons TOP UNDERGROUND/DEEP/CHICAGO House Night!
Saturday night had come and I was eagerly waiting for on of the most anticipated Underground/Deep Chicago House nights London had to offer. The venue was Babalou in Brixton and the night in mention here was none other MOOCH!N run by Lee Jarvis! I had spend much of the afternoon chillin at home and had a couple friends over including my man Craig Hamilton who came all the way Scotland for this event! We just sat about chillin and talking and waited for the night to come!

As we got to the venue my excitement is never containable, I had even broke away from my pack of friends only to eager to get to the door and go inside and replenish my soul with the music!! As I got to the door I was greeted by the friendly bouncers who even had a great sense of humor and to follow was none other then Lee Jarvis and the welcome was just better! Great smiles, and yes in the background my ears were sneaking off to the beats which were already getting my toes vibrating!

Without wasting any more time, I stepped into the venue at around 11PM which was already packed out and I managed to find way to the front where I could start to dance and get to meet everyone!

First up as I got in was ATNARKO all the way from the US who was dropping some fine fine house! Spraying an undercoat of nice Deep Chicago House, I couldn't stop myself...track after track It just started getting better. While dancing with him I met up a few friendly who were around and it was great to begin to mix with the people who all were having a good time and not too mention some of the great make up and dressups around as it was a themed party for their 4th Year running Birthday celebration!

Along dancing to the music, meeting people and taking loads of pictures, next up was non other then GIOM who is one half of Bobby and Klein and just before heading up to play managed to speak to him too and again, the emphasis of the quality of music was about to show from the outstanding personalities these DJ/Producers are!

GIOM stepped up and to tell you the truth, there was a connection with him and the people who who up front dancing! You could feel it no matter where you were in the room, I did! He played great tracks too and particularly one track which got me stampeding from the bar to the floor with my hair standing as that track was proper proper proper house! I cannot explain it to you but that was the feeling! :) What a great set that was!

Apart from that Lee then introduced my to the man who was going to play next, Luke McKeehan, the man who runs Nordic Tracks! I had no Idea he was playing there too and that was a huge surprise for me although it was biggest name on the flyer! But that's just me sometimes in moments of great excitement, I could even miss my own name in the sky if it were written there!

Luke was in no time on the decks and started to work his magic! Yes and boy that was magic! He dropped some tracks ive never heard and that was outstanding! I was boogieing away to every tune! By that time I think Giom, Lee and Atnarko were all stating in the dj booth as they looked at the people who were dancing and having a great time! I definitely couldn't stop dancing myself! Even the man from Scotland Craig Hamilton was having a great time!

UP next to close the show was none other the Lee Javis himself and he definitely picked up the sound a little bid but kept it nice and Chicago! I recall one time dancing behind him and then he told me it was his track! Lee that track was excellent! had a great bounce and lovely Saxophone work!!! Track after track he kept that party alive and then at 5am...I recall a lady telling me turn on the light as I was in the booth and I said to her "I really don't want too" as I looked back on the dance floor and a heap a heads were all still there smiling and loving the music, but...unfortunately she had to do what she had to do and the lights came on and to put the cherry on top, the night ended of with a round of applause!

For me, that was one of the best house nights I have been to in London and there is no doubt that MOOCH!N keep it real! I cannot put this into any more words the amount of love that there is is amongst its followers and the main ingredient that kept this night a success was the quality of the music!

Thanks Lee, I had a great time and I am pretty sure everyone else had a great time! My 3rd time to a MOOCH!N party and the quality prevails!
