Twisted Audio on Hybrid, Babalou and progressive house

In the run up to the next bi-monthly party at Babalou on April 12th with the mighty Hybrid, Twisted Audio tells us a bit more about progressive house and keeping it underground.

Music : Deep House, Progressive House and Tech House

After our awesome launch party with Nick Warren in Feb, we are very pleased to welcome Hybrid to Babalou for an EXCLUSIVE 3 hr set. Joining them will be Rich Weller (Bete Noire) and the cooordinators.

Hybrid need little introduction in the world of dance music; Mike Truman and Chris Healings have been writing, producing, touring and DJing all over the globe for the best part of a decade and have amassed nearly 250 productions to date. Their big break came back in 1994 when an infamous Hong Kong DJ called Lee Burridge gave a copy of their single 'Symphony' to Sasha, which then went on to be included in his and John Digweed's Northern Exposure compilation.

Since then, the Wales based duo has written two LPs, 'Wide Angle' which was released in 1999 and 'Morning Scifi', released in 2003. Both released on their long standing record label, Distinct'ive Records, worldwide sales on these albums stands at over 170,000.
