With our first event of the year next week (Friday 29th Feb) at Babalou we have invited guest DJ Tracy Caldwell.

In a relatively short space of time, Tracy Caldwell has made progress that your average DJ would take years to achieve. Playing a blend of Minimal Techno and Tech House she is certainly causing a stir. Sept 2004, only 4 months after she started mixing Tracy secured a residency at Bar Room Bar (Bristol). From then on she has gone from strength to strength.

Starting out by securing bookings at nights such as Pukka Up and Hed Kandi. Tracy then started to experiment with her sound and then progressed onto playing at a variety of promotions and festivals around the UK and Europe such as; Escape Into The Park 05, Global Gathering 06, Dirtbox (Turnmills & The Cross), Papadiso & Breakfast (The Egg), Bitch (Sankeys), ISSST!, Electric Boogaloo, Play, Loco, Housework, Disco Slut (Ibiza) and many more. Her consistent bookings have allowed her to DJ alongside pioneers such as Tiefschwarz, Radio Slave, Terry Francis and Adultnapper. In addition to this, she was also published in the Dec 06 issue of IDJ Magazine as a runner up in the Raw Talent feature.

2007 has been a successful year, not only has Tracy secured 2 new residencies; Electric Boogaloo (London) and TW_TS (Leeds) where she has played at an array of secret location events which also include a set at Sanatorium (Berlin, Germany). Tracy has a versatile approach to Djing, she is constantly exploring new music which enables her to develop the tenacity to succeed as a DJ. 2008 sets to be a promising year for Tracy, she has future bookings throughout the UK and Europe and also has plans to hit the studio.
