The Get Diverted momentum just keeps on building as clubland’s so called quiet period has seen The Crypt packed with 500 party people shaking off those winter blues!! For our March party we are turning up the heat as we celebrate the end of our very successful monthly residency at Babalou. To ensure we go out in style we are leaving nothing to chance - and what better way than welcoming back a collective of DJ’s who have rocked The Crypt in 2007. Headlining the shindig will be Stretch Silvester, who tore the roof off Babalou at our Christmas party with fellow Sucker DJ Ben Macklin. As part of the Sucker DJ's, Stretch has been one of the biggest selling artists for Toolroom Records during 2007. His varied production career spans over 10 years from the huge commercial success of number 1 hit “I’m Alive” as Stretch and Vern, to the underground tunes with Mike Monday that have received critical acclaim from DJ’s as diverse as “The Swedish Mafia” through to Felix Da Housecat. As a DJ his funky electronic sound has been putting a smile on clubbers faces across the world. He has played at some of the most hedonistic parties across Europe from being Manumission resident in Ibiza to playing to 1 million people at Love Parade in Berlin. On March 8th he continues his love affair with the Get Diverted dancefloor. The Non Stop Heroes will be making a long overdue return to Get Diverted and it is with a sense of irony that the end of our Babalou residency will be one of Jeff and Alex’s last gigs together. Like Get Diverted, The Non Stop Heroes were one of house music success stories in 2007, headlining almost every major London club, with their Precious People parties now a firmly established feature at Pacha. Their sets cross house music’s boundaries from uplifting melodies through to dirty underground beats and we are privileged to be hosting one of the last occasions to see their chemistry behind the decks. And the supporting cast?? 3 Dj’s who you are just as likely to see on the Get Diverted dancefloor as you will behind the DJ booth. And they all have something a little bit different to bring to the party. Shiva resident Muzz Khan will be providing his usual assortment of party tunes, our favourite Mexican Alex Acuna will be laying down some Latin flavours and the beautiful Shylo will be playing one of her last gigs in the UK.
