First of all Entice would like to thank you for taking time out of your hectic schedule to have this interview with us and let you know that we are very anxious and excited to see you perform this Saturday @ Babalou.
A lot of people would class "In the morning" as a UK Funky track how would you describe your sound?

The Track 'In the Morning' is a mixture of music House, Soul, Electro, Funky the list is endless but that is whats great about London and our culture!

What would you say are your musical influences?

EGYPT: Lauryn Hill, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin.

If you could have a collaboration with any artists which would be your dream collaboration?

EGYPT:Craig David, Cold play, Mario, Jagged Edge.

What inspired you to write the lyrics for "In the morning" and who was it about?

EGYPT:I woke up early one morning and the Lyrics just came to me, the song 'In the Morning' describes my relationship with God but the song can be about any one that means something to you.

Are you working on any future projects and do you have any new tunes to be released?

EGYPT:Yes i am working on new tracks and it will be a mixture of different types of music.

Do you own an ipod and if so which songs do you have on repeat or are your favourite tunes of the moment?

EGYPT:I have Jennifer Hudsons album on repeat and every venue that i do a PA at if i receive a CD i play it in my car.

Where are you originally from?

EGYPT:North London, with a very mixed heritage of Jamaican decendants and Scottish and
West Indian background.

How long have you been singing for?

EGYPT:I have been singing since i was little girl, but this my first official UK release.

How did you and Fuzzy come across to make the song together?

EGYPT:It was through a mutual friend whom always said we would do a great collaboration.

What advice would you give to singers trying to make it the industry?

EGYPT:Stay focused never give up and believe in yourself and do not let anyone tell you your not good enough because you are and all you need is an opportunity to prove yourself!
