Hi guys,

sorry about the long wait but as many of you know we have had some trouble recently with venues.

My problem: Because i know so many of you i do not operate like other promoters in London. If the doors open late, I complain. If the queue is taking to long, I complain. If the door staff are rude, I complain. If it is to hot, messy toilets, slow cloakroom etc I fix all of the problems. This mean that venues find me hard work and don't give us any more dates. This is all done because I don't except people should be treated like shit when they go out clubbing. I have no idea why the industry has turned this way but it seems the last people that are looked after are the people that pay their money on the door for the privilege. There is no need for this behaviour and all of these things add up to people having shit nights out.

The fact i know so many people at my event has made it very difficult. When you guys are unhappy i try to fix it and unfortunately this has meant we have had to come out of the usual club circuit and try different venues to try and make sure you are treated like valued customers.

This new venue: "Bar38" sounds like a normal bar but it's not. It is a fantastic space for a club night with 2 floors, high ceelings, steet spiral stair case and really nice elevated seating bays surrounding the dance floor. I will get some pictures soon. It is located no more than a 1 min walk from departure (afterparty) in aldgate/tower hill. The event will run from 21:00 so please get there early. There is no need for a pre bar because the drinks are cheap enough anyway. There are 2 floors and the capacity is 600. The venue closes at 4am which is not to much of a problem because you have 30 mins drinking up time and I have arrange departure to open at 04:30 so everyone can walk straight in.

Directions:
Come out of Aldgate tube and turn right. Then take the first left down Minories. That's it, no more than a 2 min walk.
or
Come out of Tower Hill tube and walk towards the road/dlr station. when you are at the road turn left under the railway arch and it is 2 min walk straight up the road (Minories)

The music: We will be playing a blend of classic vocal funky and vocal electro which will always be uplifting and full of energy. So many nights are just so boring, heavy and a bit miserable now that it is our job to provide a refreshing change. It will be hands in the air stuff like it used to be.

Dress code: This is mainly for the girls. I know many of you are getting frustrated with you having no nights where you can dress up any more. I want you to get out your sparkly shoes and sexy dresses and make this a night where you are able to make an effort and not stand out. You don't have to dress up but it would be nice to see you all looking pretty for a change.

Door policy: Our door policy is all about attitude. If you have one you will not be let in. End of. Charlie will be working and he knows most of you anyway. The venue will not interfere with our door picker. All of our members will get in and be treated like royalty.

Drinks promotion: I'm trying to work out a drinks promotion for anyone turning up before 10pm.

If you like what i have said i hope you will support us in trying to make a difference.

Thanks

Rochie
