Named after owner Steve Sotiriou's grandmother Anastasia, Bar Sia is the most impressive bar in Wimbledon. It is situated on the corner of the Wimbledon Theatre, sitting directly above the historical Turkish baths that used to service the performers who appeared on it's stage. Much of the baths has remained hidden for decades, but in the extensive refurbishment that has recently been completed large areas of the listed subterranean baths have been unconvered and transformed by Bar Sia's award winning designers into one of the most unusual and intriguing bars in London. Recently listed in Time Out as one of the top venues in Wimbledon, Bar Sia has two bars and a capacity of 100 in the downstairs dancefloor and bar. Bar Sia can be hired for parties and events from midweek to Saturday, 7pm to 1am. Cost varies from £100 to £200, including a DJ. For more information: www.barsia.com
