Just as the t-shirt of one of the DJs described it, this night was pure f**king genius!!

First time at Rant, and would definitely go back again. What makes this event stand out other than the fact that it was in a Bowling Alley of all places, was that the crowd was totally up for it, there was plenty of space to stand, drinks were at a very reasonable price (and cloakroom was only 50p, I don't think we've seen those prices since we went decimalised!!), and the music was really anything goes. From breaks, to bleepy chunky house, jungle classics, and some classic funk of Mr. James Brown and Michael Jackson before he went all weird!!

Missed out on Subthunk playing live, but if the promoters keep up this added bonus of live acts, I'm sure the crowd can only get bigger.

Only gripe I have is that the gent's toilet was a bit of a mess. No urinals, toilet seats were ripped from their moorings, and sheer desperation led guys to empty their bladders in the handbasins. My mitts have never felt more filthier!! And oh, "Jesus" wasn't around to strutt his stuff to Los Lobos' version of "Hotel California"!! DJs I demand you drop that track next time!!
