Brixton Splash! is a unique community-led event that will provide a day of music, pleasure and enterainment for all. It is now in it's second year, growing and improving with the passage of time. Next year it is expected to become a 2-day event.

The aim is to showcase the vibrancy, energy and creativity of Brixton's people

IT IS AN EVENT FOR EVERYONE, TAKING PLACE ON SUNDAY 5TH AUGUST 2007!

The festival will be situated in:

o Atlantic Road
o Electric Avenue
o Coldharbour Lane
o Tate Gardens (Ritzy)
o Windrush Square ...Which will all be pedestrianised for the day!! :P

1/ We are looking for people are willing to act as stewards and ambassadors on the day; free training will be provided, leading to a formal qualification in event stewarding.

You must be:

o Aged 18 or over
o Fit enough to work on your feet for up to 6 hours in the open
o Of good character & able to present a positive impression of Brixton's people to visitors

2/ The management and marketing team for Brixton Splash! 2007 would also welcome enquiries from local artists, DJ's, musicians, caterers, venues, bars & clubs and anyone who may be able to contribute or support this great day - Please see below for contact information.
