A Throbbing Amazing Night!
Behind the Bike Sheds was my first experience of Throb, although since starting as Mr Daddio and Francisco’s little work experience bitch back in December, I’d heard enough about it!

Still, I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I guess it’s one of those nights you can’t really envisage unless you’ve been. I was quite nervous about coming, but the naughty school girl that I am (or used to be) wasn’t going to pass up a chance to dress in uniform!

Maybe it helped that I was half cut by the time I got to Jamm, but as soon as I was inside I realised it was going to be a great night. Helping to do the pr for Jamm, I’d written a lot about how it was a “party rather than a club night”, which suggested to me that everyone there would know each other and I was worried it would be quite cliquey and I’d feel left out! However, everyone was really friendly (and believe me as a pr girl I’m not saying this just to promote the night).

For me Throb was the sort of night where you can just let your hair down, have fun, be silly and not have to worry about keeping up appearances as you do in most London clubs. It took me back to my uni days, when I used to go out, get mashed and not care how I behaved or what people thought of me, as everyone there was as wasted as me anyway and just up for a good time!

Music wise I’m generally an indie/rock kid, but I’m pleased to say you may have converted me – I was loving the tunes and found myself still on the dancefloor at 5am (ok, it may have had something to do with the anadin the school nurse provided, but still it was a wickedly good night!)

On a downside, I have to say that despite Frank and myself issuing very Clear rules about this school outing. A great majority of you did not behave accordingly and I was witness to dancing, flirting, smiling, chatting, screaming, and some of you naughty school children were even seen to be having fun! I hope you realise this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated in the future and those of you who received a good canning whilst there thoroughly deserved it!
