“Club Tropicana drinks are free (for a lucky few, details tbc), fun in the sunshine (well the glare of the disco lights) theres enough for everyone (if you know who to see)” Yep its the “we’ve all got a tan and better make the most of it before it fades” party. Think Beachwear, Miami Vice, Glamour, Big hair, Cocktail Lounge, The Hoff, Baywatch, Pikes Hotel, Gold medallions, Wham!, Supermodels, Eighties Jet Set, Tropical Paradise, Pimps and Hookers and get busy with the dressing up. Club Tropicana was written about a club in Ibiza and the video was filmed at the legendary Pikes Hotel, so this party is for all those that made it to Ibiza this summer or more importantly for those that didn’t. We can’t guarantee planes flying overhead and a multinational crowd but you wont be paying £7 for a coke, the journey home is a sight cheaper. Look out for palm trees, free cocktails (to those that make the effort), panama hats, garlands, sunglasses and especially for Andrew Ridgley. Of course the usual screaming up for it atmosphere and friendly welcoming vibe will be in effect as usual Do get down there early, the last party was a lock out.
