Formerly Bagley's, this huge newly renovated venue is ideal for large raves. The programme of events tends to favour all-night raves of the kind attended by only the most hardcore party animals. If you like an all-night bender with plenty of dayglo, water bottles in the air and sweaty ravers thronging the dancefloor, it's worth checking what's on here. The Shiva Panda was kidnapped and seriously wounded last night when he was ambushed in a busy West End pub after a hard day's DJ practice in the centre of London, Muzz Khan reports. More to follow....
With his second meeting in as many months with London's own Godfather Of House, Muzz Khan meets with Norman Jay as he lifts the lid on his views about his MBE, clubbing and the future of London's nightlife. A very intriguing read....
Clubland stalwart, Huckleberry Finn, gives us an insight into his world and talks to DSI about Shiva and also celebrating 20 years behind the deck this year.....
With the closure of the clubs in the infamous Goods Yard in King's Cross imminent, Shiva announce their plans to put on a party to signal their final extravaganza at Canvas. A night that will all be about encapsulating all those cherished clubbing memories and moments experienced over the years - and bringing back the Good Times! With Norman Jay MBE headlining the proceedings, the night will certainly be one to remember before they spell the start of a new Shiva chapter in 2008.....
Liam Daley may not be a household name, but he IS one of London's hardest working promoters, as well as being an extremely popular DJ! He has played for the likes of Plush Dafunk, Immaculate Touch, Kinky Malinki and Pushca to name a few. Playing at the likes of Space, Amnesia and Pacha, as well as promoting three of his own nights (Juicy, H&S and Shiva). He really is a one-man machine. We caught up with him to see what makes him tick....
